  1. Cribbage is a card game for 2 players using a standard 52-card deck. Each player is dealt 6 cards and discards 2 to the "crib" (an extra hand scored by the dealer). A starter card is cut from the deck.
  2. In the pegging phase, players alternate playing cards trying to reach exactly 15 or 31 for bonus points, plus points for pairs, runs, and flushes. Cards are played face-up and the running total cannot exceed 31.
  3. After pegging, each player scores their 4-card hand plus the starter card for combinations of 15, pairs, runs, and flushes. The dealer also scores the crib. Points are tracked on a cribbage board — first to 121 points wins.
