Rules / Config

  1. Barbu is a trick-taking card game for 4 players using a standard 52-card deck. The game consists of 28 rounds — each player deals 7 times, choosing a different contract each time.
  2. The seven contracts are: No Tricks, No Hearts, No Queens, No King of Hearts (Barbu), No Last Two Tricks, Dominoes (play cards in sequence), and Trumps (win the most tricks).
  3. Before each hand, players may double the dealer's chosen contract to increase stakes. Points are negative for most contracts — the player with the fewest penalty points at the end wins.
